Pretreatment | In order to achieve the ideal adhesion, it is suggested that the substrate should be properly pretreated and dried before coating. Steel plate: Iron Phosphating or zinc phosphating, or sand blasting to improve corrosion resistance and adhesion. Galvanized steel sheet: phosphating with zinc chromate. In order to avoid pinholes in the cured coating caused by micro bubbles, it is suggested to use preheating and bake for 20 minutes at a temperature higher than the curing temperature of the powder coating | |
